Adobe Creative Suite 2 free download

Adobe, Creator of Photoshop and InDesign, has made its entire Creative Suite 2 (CS2) free to download. Having disabled the CS2 activation servers late last year, the company was inundated with complaints from users demanding to download and install software they had already paid for.

In response, Adobe released both the installation files and accompanying serial numbers for download, letting anyone who previously bought CS2 re-install it on a new PC.

This generosity has also been extended to the general public. Anyone with an Adobe.com account was able to download the files, but now simply pointing your browser at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html will give you complete access to the Creative Suite files. Although the software is only intended for those who purchased it legally in the past, there’s nothing to stop anyone from downloading the company’s Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, Audition or the entire Creative Suite software to their own PCs.

Adobe CS2 was originally launched in 2005. On Adobe CS2 free download link, a caution reads…

“Adobe has disabled the activation server for CS2 products, including Acrobat 7, because of a technical issue. These products were released more than seven years ago, do not run on many modern operating systems, and are no longer supported.

Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software. The serial numbers below should only be used by customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products”
