Lenovo Africa strengthening its business operations in Kenya with Ultrabook Convertible


A range of business and consumer Ultrabook convertible laptops – tablets have been unveiled in the market. These device include the Lenovo Yoga, the ThinkPad Twist and ThinkPad Tablet 2.

The Ultrabook Convertible Laptops – tablets feature the latest Intel Core processor with touch screen capabilities that allow users to get the best of both tablet and laptop world in one compact device.

Joy Downing, Intel market development manager South Africa, said, “Consumers today want devices that keep them mobile and this is exactly what Lenovo Ultrabook Convertible is about”.

The company has introduced Lenovo Partner Network programme to strengthen relations in Kenya.The introduction of the programme locally will see existing and new partners equipped with in-depth knowledge and tools to enhance their relationship with Lenovo, including access to a free online resource and a loyalty reward scheme.

“Kenya is one of Lenovo Africa key growth markets and we are here today to affirm our commitment to customers and partners in the country,” said Graham Braum, Lenovo Africa general manager. “The ICT sector is continuously developing in Kenya and technology plays a key role in the development and economic growth of countries. It is therefore our belief that our business strategy will further accelerate performance and business development”.

Lenovo latest Intel powered Ultrabook Convertible devices, designed for Windows 8, are in line to redefine the future of mobile computing which will be around touch-optimized devices that can be used anyway consumers like; flip, fold, twist or rotate.
